CURRANT is a lusciously juicy blend of sweet fruits, tart flowers, and smooth herbs spearheaded by succulent black currants of the zante cultivar. Sourced direct from an organic farming cooperative in sunny Fresno, California, zante currants (the dried berries of a seedless grape varietal), are exceptionally sustainable—grown organically, harvested, and sun-dried.

Balanced by an earthy base of long-cut rooibos from South Africa's Cederberg mountains, this tisane is blended to be fruit-forward and layered with an herbaceous citrus element atop a nutty foundation. Evoking a strong purple fruit aspect and an ambrosial aroma of berry compote, CURRANT boasts a complex sweetness with no added sugars—only those naturally present in the fruits and flowers we select season-to-season according to our strict sourcing standards. 

Like our other masterful tisanes, CURRANT is crafted in small batches with signature drink service in mind—it pairs perfectly with cooled cream for a vibrant take on the classic berries and cream, or with shrubs and sparkling waters as a bright, sprightly spritzer. Serve it on rocks and garnished with rosemary stalk for a refreshing, barista-friendly beverage, or piping hot with steamed cashew milk.
